Air Canada Wins Sixth Consecutive APEX Global Airline Award

Air Canada Wins Sixth Consecutive APEX Global Airline Award

Post by : Meena Rani

Air Canada has once again been honored with the prestigious APEX Five-Star Global Airline Award, marking the sixth consecutive year the airline has earned this recognition. This award highlights Air Canada’s continuous commitment to providing exceptional service and improving the travel experience for passengers around the world.

The Airline Passenger Experience Association (APEX) presents these awards to airlines based entirely on verified passenger feedback. This ensures that the winners reflect the real experiences of travelers rather than just industry opinions or internal ratings. Air Canada’s consistent high ratings show the airline’s dedication to keeping passengers happy and comfortable throughout their journey.

Passenger-Verified Awards Highlight True Quality

The APEX awards are unique because they rely completely on passenger reviews. Millions of travelers provide feedback on different aspects of their flight, including comfort, food, cabin service, and overall experience. Air Canada’s high scores across these areas have placed it at the top, confirming its position as one of the leading airlines globally.

Excellence in In-Flight Connectivity

Alongside the Five-Star Global Airline Award, Air Canada was also recognized for offering the best in-flight Wi-Fi service. The service, sponsored by Bell, is free for Aeroplan members, demonstrating the airline’s focus on providing convenience and connectivity for passengers during flights. In today’s digital world, having reliable internet while traveling is a major factor in passenger satisfaction, and Air Canada has excelled in this area.

Leadership Acknowledges the Achievement

Michael Rousseau, President and CEO of Air Canada, expressed his gratitude to the airline’s 40,000 employees worldwide. He thanked passengers for their loyalty and emphasized the airline’s mission to continue improving travel experiences. Rousseau also noted the importance of technology, comfort, and quality service in maintaining Air Canada’s leading status.

A Legacy of Recognitions and Awards

This latest award adds to Air Canada’s long list of accolades. Earlier, the airline was named the Best Airline in North America by Skytrax for 2025. Other awards include:

  • Best Business Class Lounge Dining for the Toronto Signature Suite (second year in a row)

  • Best Cabin Crew in Canada and North America

  • Best Low-Cost Airline for Air Canada Rouge

  • Most Family-Friendly Airline in North America

  • Best Premium Economy Class Onboard Catering in North America

  • Best Business Class Onboard Catering in North America

  • Best Business Class Lounge in North America

These awards collectively show that Air Canada is not just focusing on flights but also creating a complete and enjoyable travel experience for all passengers.
