Maruti Suzuki’s premium MPV, the Invicto, has achieved a five-star safety rating in the Bharat New Car Assessment Programme (BNCAP), underlining the brand’s commitment to world-class vehicle safety standards. The MPV excelled in both adult and child occupant protection tests, scoring 30.43 out of 32 points for adult safety and 45 out of 49 points for child safety.
Adult Occupant Protection
The Invicto performed exceptionally in adult occupant protection (AOP) assessments:
Frontal Offset Deformable Barrier Test: 14.43/16 points
Side Movable Deformable Barrier Test: Perfect score of 16/16
Child Occupant Protection
The vehicle also demonstrated excellent child safety:
Dynamic Test: Perfect score of 24 points
Child Restraint System (CRS) Installation: 12/12 points
Vehicle Assessment: 9/13 points

He added that 6 airbags are now standard across 15 Maruti Suzuki models, covering 157 variants, including entry-level cars like Alto K10, Celerio, hatchbacks like Wagon R, Swift, Baleno, SUVs such as Brezza, VICTORIS, Grand Vitara, Jimny, FRONX, and other models like Dzire, XL6, Ertiga, Eeco PV, and Invicto.
Through initiatives like NEXA Safety Shield and ARENA Safety Shield, Maruti Suzuki has standardized advanced safety features across its lineup, combining safety with comfort and innovation for customers.
