Reinforcing its leadership in last-mile mobility, Tata Motors has unveiled the all-new Ace EV Pro, an upgraded electric mini-truck that promises enhanced range, smarter tech, and superior value—all at a competitive starting price of ₹3.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The launch marks yet another strategic step in Tata's efforts to electrify urban logistics and make clean transportation more accessible to small businesses and fleet operators across India.
The Ace EV Pro builds on the trusted legacy of the original Ace platform—India’s first mini-truck that revolutionized intra-city goods transport. With the new electric variant, Tata Motors is delivering not just an eco-friendly vehicle but a complete mobility solution tailored to the unique needs of e-commerce, FMCG, courier, and urban retail sectors.
Under the hood, the Ace EV Pro features an enhanced battery pack, offering an improved certified range of over 160 kilometers on a single charge, with real-world usability optimized for stop-go city traffic. The vehicle is equipped with fast-charging capabilities, allowing 10-80% charging in just over an hour. This drastically reduces downtime and keeps delivery cycles running efficiently.
What sets the EV Pro apart is its advanced connected vehicle platform—called Fleet Edge—which offers real-time tracking, driving behavior insights, vehicle health diagnostics, and predictive maintenance alerts. This makes it particularly attractive for fleet managers looking to optimize uptime, fuel (or electricity) usage, and logistics planning.
The Ace EV Pro also includes regenerative braking, a lightweight design for enhanced payload capacity, and climate-resilient battery management systems that adapt to India’s extreme temperatures—making it a reliable choice across varied geographies.
Tata Motors is also extending support through customized financing options, dedicated EV service infrastructure, and tie-ups with multiple charging network providers. Additionally, the EV Pro is aligned with India’s growing ecosystem of sustainability-focused logistics, and supports the government’s FAME II and e-mobility targets.
Company executives highlighted that the Ace EV Pro is not merely a product but part of Tata's broader vision to decarbonize commercial transport, especially in Tier-1 and Tier-2 cities where electrification of freight is gathering pace.
With this launch, Tata Motors has once again raised the bar in India’s light commercial vehicle (LCV) segment, providing small business owners and logistics operators with a powerful new tool to navigate a greener, more cost-effective future.
