Post by : Meena Rani

Bengaluru-based EV startup Ultraviolette has unveiled its second electric motorcycle in the domestic market, the X-47 Crossover, following the F77. With the launch, the company expands its product line-up into the crossover segment, catering to riders seeking advanced tech and performance.

Price, Bookings, and Deliveries

Priced at Rs 2.49 lakh (ex-showroom, India) for the first 1,000 customers, the X-47 Crossover has opened bookings via the official website with a token payment of Rs 999. Deliveries are expected to start by October 2025. Manufactured in Ultraviolette’s Bengaluru factory, the bike is also set for global export in 2026.

Integrated Radar Technology

The X-47 Crossover is the world’s first motorcycle with integrated radar intelligence, branded as UV HyperSense. This system powers the Advanced Rider Assistance System (ARAS), offering features like:

  • Blind-spot monitoring

  • Lane change assist

  • Overtake alert

  • Rear collision warning

Advanced Dashcam System

The motorcycle features a dual 1080p dashcam setup with 30fps HDR front and rear cameras. Linked to a secondary 5-inch touchscreen display, the system supports 32 GB storage expandable to 256 GB. The Emergency Video Lock & Recording activates during accidents to secure critical footage.

On-board Charger

Ultraviolette claims the X-47 has the world’s most power-dense onboard charger. The air-cooled portable unit is developed in-house, supporting:

  • Type 2 AC car charging

  • DC fast charging via Type 6

This makes it the only electric two-wheeler in India with this fast-charging capability.

Battery, Range, and Performance

The X-47 Crossover comes with a 10.3 kWh battery delivering an IDC range of 323 km. Its power output is 40.2 bhp with 100 Nm torque, capable of:

  • 0-60 kmph sprint in 2.7 seconds

  • Top speed of 145 kmph

Additional features include:

  • 200 mm ground clearance

  • 10th Gen Bosch Dual-Channel ABS with switchable modes

  • 3-level traction control

  • Radial All-Terrain Tires

With these specifications, the Ultraviolette X-47 Crossover positions itself as a premium, tech-rich electric motorcycle for Indian and global riders.
