Ashok Leyland strengthens LCV presence in Central India

Post by : Meena Rani

Ashok Leyland is strengthening its presence in Madhya Pradesh and the wider Central India region as the company looks to capture rising demand for commercial vehicles amid rapid economic growth and infrastructure development. The automaker is focusing on delivering best-in-class Light Commercial Vehicle (LCV) products and services tailored to regional requirements.

Expanding Network and Service Reach

Currently partnered with 21 dealers, Ashok Leyland operates more than 90 service workshops and employs over 600 Ashok Leyland Trained Technicians (ALTTs) across Central India. This extensive setup ensures a service touchpoint every 50 kilometers. The company plans to reduce this to 25 kilometers within a year, further enhancing accessibility and customer support.

Viplav Shah, Head – LCV Business at Ashok Leyland, said, “Madhya Pradesh and the Central India region have always been a prime market for us. Our LCV range offers five key values – best-in-class mileage, payload, loading area, comfort, and reliability. The Ashok Leyland uptime guarantee program ‘Bharosa’ and our industry-first 5-year, 2 lakh km warranty reflect our deep commitment to our customers.”

Innovation and Customer-Centric Growth

Ashok Leyland continues to strengthen its LCV portfolio with advanced technology and innovation. By delivering reliable transport solutions for varied industries, the company is supporting economic progress in the region while reinforcing its leadership position.

Shah further added, “We are committed to strengthening our presence in the Central India region, which is a key market for us. We remain steadfast in delivering top-quality LCV products and an expanded network to cater to the specific requirements of this region.”

With a focus on customer-centric mobility, expanded service networks, and robust LCV offerings, Ashok Leyland aims to set new benchmarks for commercial vehicle solutions in Central India.
