Bengaluru Metro Becomes Moving Birthday Tribute for Actor Yash

Post by : Saif

Fans of Kannada film star Yash have created a first-of-its-kind birthday celebration by turning Bengaluru’s Namma Metro Purple Line into a moving tribute. Ahead of Yash’s 40th birthday on January 8, 2026, a train has been fully wrapped with colorful birthday messages and artwork honoring the actor.

The initiative was led by Akash Gowda, head of Yash’s fan club, who wanted a unique and unforgettable tribute. Unlike traditional posters, banners, or social media greetings, the decorated metro train offers a city-wide moving celebration that thousands of commuters can see.

Bengaluru Metro Rail Corporation Limited had recently allowed full-body train advertisements. Yash’s fans used this space not for a commercial ad, but to show their love and admiration for the actor. The special train runs between Challaghatta and Whitefield, allowing daily passengers to experience the festive display.

The tribute has quickly gone viral on social media, with videos and photos shared widely by fans. Residents of Bengaluru have welcomed the idea, saying it adds cheer and excitement to the city and creates a memorable experience for both commuters and Yash fans.

Yash, one of the most popular Kannada actors, received numerous online wishes and messages from fans celebrating this innovative birthday tribute. The decorated metro train will continue running across the city for the coming month, making it a unique cultural celebration and a visible symbol of fan devotion.

This initiative shows how fan creativity, city infrastructure, and popular culture can come together to create an extraordinary birthday celebration that stands out across Bengaluru.
