Mahindra NOVO Series Turns 11 Premium Upgrades & 6-Year Warranty Added

Post by : Meena Rani

Mahindra Tractors, one of the most trusted tractor brands in India, has proudly completed 11 years of its NOVO tractor series. To mark this special occasion, the company has launched several new premium features and announced an extended six-year warranty across the entire NOVO range. This move shows Mahindra’s continued commitment to supporting Indian farmers with advanced machines that make farming easier, more efficient, and more rewarding.

The NOVO series is well-known among farmers for being powerful, reliable, and versatile. With models ranging from 49 horsepower to 74 horsepower, these tractors are used widely for ploughing, tilling, sowing, harvesting, and even transport work. Farmers across India have trusted NOVO tractors for more than a decade, and this anniversary upgrade is designed to add even more value to their farming experience.

Understanding the NOVO Series

When Mahindra launched the NOVO series 11 years ago, the goal was to give farmers a tractor that was not just strong, but also smart. Over the years, these tractors have become a popular choice because they balance power, comfort, fuel efficiency, and adaptability. Farmers can buy both 2-wheel drive (2WD) and 4-wheel drive (4WD) options depending on the kind of land they work on.

The NOVO range includes models like:

  • NOVO 605 DI PS

  • NOVO 605 DI PP

  • NOVO 655 DI PP

  • NOVO 755 DI PP

These tractors have already been performing well in the market, but with the 11th anniversary, Mahindra has given them a fresh boost.

New Features Introduced for the Anniversary

Mahindra has added multiple new features to the NOVO series, keeping in mind the real challenges faced by farmers in the field. Each feature has been designed to make farming work smoother, faster, and less stressful. Let’s look at them in detail.

  •  Creeper Gear Mode

One of the most interesting new features is the Creeper Gear Mode. This mode allows the tractor to move at an extremely slow speed, as low as 0.3 to 0.4 km per hour. Such a slow pace is very useful for delicate farming work like onion planting or banana mulching, where too much speed could damage the crops. With Creeper Mode, farmers can now perform careful tasks with greater precision.

  •  mBoost Technology

Another big upgrade is the introduction of mBoost technology. This system offers three driving modes:

  • Diesel Saver Mode – to save fuel during light work.

  • Normal Mode – for everyday farming activities.

  • Power Mode – when heavy work demands extra strength.

This feature gives farmers the flexibility to choose how their tractor performs, depending on the job at hand. It also helps reduce fuel costs, which is one of the biggest concerns for farmers.

  •  Stronger Hydraulics: MahaLIFT with QLift

Mahindra has also upgraded the hydraulic system. The new MahaLIFT with QLift technology increases the lifting capacity of the tractors to around 2,700–2,900 kilograms. This means farmers can now attach and lift heavier implements with ease. The QLift button-operated system allows quick lifting, saving both time and effort in the field.

  • Smart Balancer Technology

Farmers often spend long hours on their tractors, and one common complaint is engine vibration and noise. To solve this, Mahindra has introduced Smart Balancer Technology, which reduces vibration and makes the ride smoother. This not only makes farming more comfortable but also reduces tiredness during long workdays.

  •  New Look and Style

Apart from performance upgrades, Mahindra has also given the tractors a fresh look. NOVO models with more than 50 horsepower now come with a metallic red paint finish, giving them a modern and premium appearance.

  •  Extended Six-Year Warranty

One of the most farmer-friendly moves is the extension of the warranty. Earlier, tractors had shorter warranty periods, but now Mahindra is offering six years of coverage across the NOVO range. This gives farmers peace of mind, knowing their investment is protected for a longer period.

  •  Smart Technology and Add-ons

To keep up with modern farming needs, Mahindra has also added advanced technologies:

  • DIGISense 4G: Farmers can now monitor fuel consumption, area covered, and tractor performance using their smartphones.

  • Geo-fencing: Ensures the tractor stays within a defined boundary, which is useful for safety and monitoring.

  • Additional features: ROPS safety systems, fiber canopies, auxiliary valves, and improved seat comfort make the tractors safer and more comfortable.

Why These Upgrades Matter

Each of these updates has been carefully designed to solve real problems faced by farmers:

  • Precision farming: Creeper mode allows farmers to perform delicate operations without harming crops.

  • Fuel savings: mBoost ensures that fuel is not wasted, lowering the cost of operations.

  • Better efficiency: A stronger hydraulic system means one tractor can handle many different tools and tasks.

  • Comfort and safety: Reduced vibration, safer cabins, and better ergonomics help farmers work longer hours without stress.

  • Durability: A six-year warranty shows Mahindra’s confidence in its tractors and reduces the financial risk for farmers.

  • Smart farming: Features like DIGISense 4G bring digital monitoring to farming, making it easier to plan and track work.

Mahindra’s Vision for Farmers

Mahindra’s decision to upgrade the NOVO tractors is more than just a celebration of 11 years. It shows their long-term vision to make farming in India more advanced and efficient. As farming challenges grow — from rising fuel costs to climate change — farmers need machines that can do more with less effort. The NOVO upgrades reflect this vision of helping farmers increase productivity while reducing costs.

Farmers’ Growing Expectations

Today’s farmers are not only looking for strong tractors, but also tractors that are smart, comfortable, and cost-efficient. They want machines that can multitask, reduce manual labour, and last longer. Mahindra’s new NOVO tractors meet these expectations by combining power with technology, and strength with comfort.

In simple words, Mahindra has taken its trusted NOVO series and made it even better. By adding Creeper Gear, mBoost modes, stronger hydraulics, smoother rides, a stylish look, and an extended warranty, Mahindra is giving farmers more value than ever before. The addition of smart features like DIGISense shows that farming in India is moving into a new age where technology and tradition come together.

For farmers, this celebration is not just about a tractor turning 11 years old — it is about entering a future where their work becomes easier, their costs come down, and their machines stay reliable for many years. Mahindra’s NOVO series, with its new upgrades, is ready to stand beside farmers in every step of their journey.
