Maruti Suzuki, one of India’s most trusted car manufacturers, has unveiled the 2025 version of its premium MPV, the XL6. This new model brings several updates in design, interior comfort, and safety features to offer a better driving and riding experience for families. The XL6 has always been popular among buyers looking for a spacious, stylish, and reliable seven-seater MPV, and the 2025 update takes it to the next level.

Exterior Updates and Design Changes

The 2025 XL6 features subtle but noticeable changes to its exterior design. The rear section has been slightly elongated by about 40 mm, giving the car a taller and more spacious look. The rear tailgate has been redesigned to stand more upright, giving the car a premium stance. In addition, a longer roof spoiler has been added at the rear, enhancing the sporty appearance of the vehicle while also improving aerodynamics.

The front of the XL6 continues with its bold grille design and sleek headlamp units, giving it a modern look. Overall, the design updates are aimed at providing a more commanding presence on the road while maintaining the stylish identity of the XL6.

Interior Comfort and Passenger Features

Inside, the XL6 2025 focuses on comfort, convenience, and practicality.

  • Air Conditioning: The second-row roof-mounted AC vents with blowers have been replaced by floor-mounted vents without blowers. The third row now has dedicated vents with adjustable blower speed, ensuring that rear passengers enjoy better air circulation.

  • USB Charging Ports: Recognizing the increasing use of gadgets on the move, the XL6 now comes with multiple Type-C USB charging ports. Two ports are available for the second row and two for the third row, making it convenient for all passengers to charge their devices during trips.

  • Cup Holders: To further enhance comfort during journeys, cup holders are now available in both the second and third rows.

  • Seating and Space: The seats remain comfortable and spacious, with the updated interior layout ensuring easier access to the third row. Families will find it easier to accommodate children, elders, and luggage comfortably.

Safety Features

One of the most important updates in the 2025 XL6 is safety. All variants now come equipped with six airbags as standard. This move emphasizes Maruti Suzuki’s commitment to passenger safety and makes the XL6 one of the safest MPVs in its segment.

Other safety highlights include:

  • ABS with EBD: Improves braking performance and stability.

  • Electronic Stability Control (ESC): Helps maintain control on slippery or challenging roads.

  • Hill Hold Assist: Prevents rollback on inclines, making starts smoother.

  • ISOFIX Child Seat Anchorages: Ensures secure installation of child seats.

  • Rear Parking Sensors: Help detect obstacles while reversing.

  • Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS): Alerts the driver if tyre pressure drops.

  • 360-Degree Camera: Available on higher variants, this system gives a full view around the vehicle for easier parking and maneuvering.

These safety features make the XL6 a reliable choice for families who prioritize the protection of all passengers.

Engine and Performance

The 2025 XL6 continues with the same dependable powertrains:

  • Petrol Engine: A 1.5-liter four-cylinder petrol engine produces 102 bhp and 136.8 Nm of torque. Buyers can choose between a 5-speed manual transmission or a 6-speed automatic, offering smooth performance with fuel efficiency.

  • CNG Variant: For those seeking a more economical and eco-friendly option, the XL6 offers a CNG variant with the same engine. This option comes with a manual gearbox and a CNG tank cleverly positioned inside the luggage area, ensuring that boot space is preserved.

The engine choices ensure that both city driving and long highway journeys remain comfortable and efficient.

Pricing and Variants

The 2025 XL6 is offered in several variants to meet different customer needs:

  • Zeta (Petrol): ₹11,93,500

  • Alpha (Petrol): ₹12,93,500

  • Alpha Plus (Petrol): ₹13,43,500

  • Zeta (CNG): ₹12,88,500

These prices are ex-showroom and reflect the inclusion of new safety features, especially the standard six airbags across all variants.

The 2025 Maruti Suzuki XL6 combines style, comfort, and safety, making it an ideal choice for family buyers. With its updated exterior design, improved interior features, multiple USB charging ports, better air-conditioning system, and advanced safety features, the XL6 ensures a comfortable and secure ride for every passenger.

Maruti Suzuki has once again proven that it understands the needs of modern families by delivering a vehicle that balances aesthetics, functionality, and safety. For those seeking a spacious, reliable, and well-equipped MPV, the 2025 XL6 is a compelling option in the Indian market.
