Motohaus India has officially introduced the VLF Mobster, marking its first internal combustion engine (ICE) scooter offering in India. The scooter is priced at an introductory ₹1.30 lakh (ex-showroom) for the first 2,500 customers, with bookings available for a token amount of ₹999. The scooter will be assembled locally as CKD units in Kolhapur, reinforcing Motohaus’ commitment to the Indian market.

The launch expands the brand’s Indian portfolio alongside its existing Tennis electric scooter, catering to consumers seeking both electric and ICE mobility solutions.

The VLF Mobster is designed to stand out in the crowded scooter segment. Key design highlights include:

  • Twin-headlamp front apron – unique in its segment

  • Single-piece seat with distinctive side panels – emphasizing a muscular stance

  • Street bike-style wide handlebars – adds to sporty ergonomics

  • Brake lever defenders – enhance its adventure-ready persona

  • 8-liter fuel tank – claimed as the first in the segment

Color Options: Crimson Override, Glostlight, Ash Circuit, and Neon Venom.

These features collectively set the Mobster apart from conventional scooters, offering both style and utility.

Features and Technology

The scooter comes loaded with modern features, appealing to tech-savvy riders:

Performance and Engine Options

Under the hood, the VLF Mobster is powered by a 125cc liquid-cooled engine, producing:

  • 12 bhp of power

  • 11.7 Nm of torque

For international markets, Motohaus offers an upgraded 180cc engine delivering 18 bhp and 15.7 Nm of torque, though this option is not yet available in India.

The combination of a powerful engine, advanced features, and muscular design positions the Mobster as a premium sporty scooter in its category.
