Tata Motors, India’s largest commercial vehicle manufacturer, has reached a major milestone in its electric mobility journey, announcing that more than 25,000 public charging stations are now operational for customers of its electric small commercial vehicles (SCVs).
The chargers are strategically located in over 150 cities, including Delhi-NCR, Bengaluru, Mumbai, Chennai, and Hyderabad, covering key logistics hubs. This expansion aims to provide last-mile delivery operators with enhanced range confidence, improved operational efficiency, and better earnings.
Strategic Collaborations to Accelerate Charging Network
To further grow charging infrastructure, Tata Motors has signed Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with 13 leading Charging Point Operators (CPOs). These partnerships will add 25,000 public chargers over the next 12 months.
All existing and upcoming charger locations will be integrated with Fleet Edge, Tata Motors’ connected vehicle platform, enabling real-time navigation and charger availability for seamless access.
The MoUs include the following CPOs:
A Plus Charge, Ampvolts, chargeMOD, Charge Zone, Electric Fuel, Envo The Sustainer, EV Spot Charge, Kazam, Nikol EV, Sonik Mobility, Thunderplus Solutions, Volttic, and Zeon Electric.

These vehicles offer multiple load deck configurations and payload options, ensuring flexibility for a range of business applications.
To support uptime and operational efficiency, Tata Motors has also set up over 200 dedicated EV support centres nationwide, offering dependable service and technical assistance.
