IRCTC Launches 10-Day Bharat Gaurav Tour Covering 4 Jyotirlingas and Statue of Unity

Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has introduced a 9 nights and 10 days Bharat Gaurav Tourist Train package for devotees wishing to visit some of India's most revered religious destinations. The special pilgrimage tour will cover four Jyotirlingas, the Dwarkadhish Temple, Bet Dwarka and the Statue of Unity, offering travellers an all-inclusive spiritual and sightseeing experience.

The journey is scheduled to begin on August 17, 2026, from Gorakhpur Railway Station and will conclude on August 26, 2026.

Destinations Covered in the Tour

The Bharat Gaurav Tourist Train will take passengers to several important pilgrimage and tourist destinations across Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat. The itinerary includes:

  • Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga, Ujjain
  • Omkareshwar Jyotirlinga, Madhya Pradesh
  • Dwarkadhish Temple, Dwarka
  • Bet Dwarka
  • Nageshwar Jyotirlinga
  • Somnath Jyotirlinga
  • Statue of Unity
  • Signature Bridge, Gujarat

The package has been designed to combine religious tourism with visits to some of India's iconic landmarks.

Passengers can board or deboard the Bharat Gaurav Tourist Train from multiple railway stations in Uttar Pradesh, making the journey accessible to travellers across the state.

  • Pratapgarh Junction
  • Prayagraj Sangam
  • Rae Bareli
  • Lucknow

Package Includes Meals, Sightseeing and More

IRCTC has designed the package as an all-inclusive pilgrimage tour. The package includes:

  • Daily breakfast
  • Pure vegetarian lunch and dinner
  • Local sightseeing by AC and non-AC buses
  • Accommodation during the journey
  • LTC (Leave Travel Concession) facility
  • EMI payment option

The package is available in Sleeper Class, Third AC and Second AC, allowing passengers to choose according to their budget and travel preference.

Fare Details

The per-person package cost is:

  • Sleeper Class: ₹18,380
  • Third AC: ₹29,570
  • Second AC: ₹38,870

The fare includes train travel, meals, accommodation and sightseeing as part of the tour package.
