VVDN Technologies has partnered with QNX, a BlackBerry division, to deliver advanced safety-critical solutions across automotive and embedded sectors. The collaboration is set to accelerate software development for Software-Defined Vehicles (SDVs), autonomous driving, eMobility, digital cockpits, and other mission-critical embedded systems, ensuring faster time-to-market and functional safety for OEMs.

Driving Innovation in Automotive and Embedded Domains

The partnership combines QNX’s safety-certified software stack, including QNX® Neutrino® RTOS and QNX® Hypervisor for Safety, with VVDN’s hardware and electronics expertise. This collaboration targets several high-impact areas:

  • Software-Defined Vehicles (SDVs): Centralized ECU development and Over-the-Air (OTA) updates for continuous vehicle improvement.

  • ADAS/Autonomous Driving: Real-time certified software integrating sensor fusion, AI/ML, and camera-based solutions.

  • Digital Cockpit and Infotainment: Secure OS integration with customizable UI/UX and multimedia experiences.

  • eMobility: Battery Management Systems, EV chargers, and power electronics paired with secure embedded software.

  • Embedded Domains: High-performance, secure solutions for industrial, MedTech, robotics, aerospace, and defense applications.
